Internal Mailbag: Xbap, FavIcon, and IE Titlebar

May 31, 2007

Internal mail thread that may help somebody, read from bottom of thread:

To set IE title, you can set Page.WindowTitle property on your page.

No, XBAP application has no access to the page it hosted in as well as to server pages. It initialized on client. If you want to use favicon, you can just put favicon.ico file in the server directory XBAP downloaded from.

Is it even possible to do the following:

1. Is there a way to have an xbap acknowledge a favicon? I just added your asp.net favicon and nothing.

2. Is there a way to have the xbap set the IE title bar?
